About
Hey there, I’m Samantha! I’m a food enthusiast and chef, whose purpose in life is to cook delicious food that is wholesome and fun.
As a graduate of the Health Supportive Culinary Arts program at the Institute of Culinary Education, I am highly passionate about encouraging people to make food choices that support their physical and mental health, as well as the health of our communities and planet at large.
After spending over a decade working in the fine jewelry industry and holding multiple corporate and retail positions, I decided to return to what brings me true joy-- Food! I fell in love with cooking at a young age, in my grandparent’s kitchen, and have been sharing my passion with family and friends ever since. Now I am living out my lifelong dream of cooking professionally for people like you.
A “Mostly Nutritious” Approach
Food is meant to nourish us, mind, body, & soul.
I believe that food is neither good nor bad and that all foods consumed in moderation make for a healthy and full life. While I place an important focus on nutrient dense, organic, & local ingredients; I also believe there is plenty of room for the occasional indulgence.
A “Mostly Nutritious” approach means eating a variety of satisfying foods without deprivation.
